I have been described as an innovator, a designer who plays with form and function to conceptualize works of art.
To clarify, I have been called those things exactly once - as a response to me asking what my bio should say.
I'm a former computer repair technician studying mechanical engineering to build upon my experience with additive and subtractive manufacturing.
I have a small but capable workshop where I make 3D printed jewelry. I try to bring geometry and nature together into detailed and complicated structures. I draw inspiration from natural, chaotic beauty - the formation of bubbles in volcanic rock or a fragment of honeycomb.
My jewelry is printed and hand-finished in small, limited runs, so stay tuned for the next run, at etsy.com/shop/VoxelAndFacet
I also produce 3D printed maps on commission that are based on lidar data, accurate down to the meter. If you want a miniature version of a city block, landmark, or whole metropolitan area, message me on Etsy for a quote.
My other printable designs are freely available on Printables and Maker World:
